African presidents always love to invest in their long and high speeding motorcades for glamor. But at least Kenya had the guts to address the incident

Following their taking of Goma, a city with a population of more than 2 million and Bukavu with over 1.3 million residents, the respective capitals of North and South Kivu Provinces, the M23 rebels have pressed further south.

The coalition between the Congo River Alliance (AFC) and the March 23 who have seized the entire eastern region of DRC, are establishing their own administration with some government entities now resuming services.

As far as Kabila is concerned, restoration of peace and stability does not require a military approach against M23 rebels who are fighting for their deserved rights being bonafide Congolese citizens.

The A3 trio are thus calling upon the fighting groups to lay down arms and resort to roundtable negotiations in order to create the necessary space for a conveyed political solution.
