Tanzania-Israel Business Investment Forum pulls 100 investors from Dar-es-salaam to Tel Aviv in June
More than 100 local business persons will be traveling to Tel-Aviv next June for the Tanzania Israel Business Investment Forum 2025.
The Director of Kingdom Leadership Network Tanzania (KLNT), Isaac Mpatwa said the motive of the forum which takes place between the 8th and 14th of June 2025, is yet another initiative aimed at connecting Tanzania business community with the opportunities that can be tapped in Israel and other parts of the Middle-east.
“We are connecting local investors from Tanzania with their fellow members of the business community in Israel, covering all sectors, including agriculture, finance, fishery, animal husbandry, education, tourism and productive industries,” explained Mpatwa.
The KLTN Director said the Tanzanian entrepreneurs will connect with Israeli counterparts through Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings in Tel Aviv, where they may exchange expertise, learn from their peers and even be able to secure financial support and other backups to boost their businesses.
Mpatwa was speaking during the occasion to launch the Kingdom Leadership Institute (KLI) Alumni Connect, which brought together more than 300 delegates who previously underwent their training programs.
They were taken from Arusha, Dar-es-salaam and Dodoma regions.
Conducted for three consecutive years, the initial training program was conducted in conjunction with the center for Entrepreneurship at the Regent University in the United States under the Business Development Center (BDC) in Tanzania.
The Mayor for Arusha City, Maximilian Matle Iranqe stated that the entrepreneurship training, usually impacted practically, was vital in encouraging self-employment and boosting the national economy.
One of the beneficiaries, Rephrine Kombe said through the training has been able to formalize her Reepads Sanitary pads business which is now fully registered and enlisted in the government system.
Tanzania Israel Business Investment Forum (TIBIF) is a distinguished non-governmental organization which is dedicated to fostering collaborative investment projects between Tanzanian and Israeli investors, with a primary focus on the agriculture sector.
