Catholic Church Throws Out Nigerian Priest From Dar-Es-Salaam Parish

A Catholic Priest from Nigeria, who has been serving at the Archdiocese of Dar-es-salaam has been kicked out of Tanzania.

The Catholic Church Leaders in Dar simply terminated Father Christopher Fosudo’s services though a letter which didn’t offer much explanation regarding the decision.

During his tenure in Tanzania, the Church Minister from Nigeria, Father Christopher Fosudo, was working as the Assistant Parish Priest at the Magomeni Catholic Church in Dar-es-salaam City.

Now, the Nigeria Priest has just been shown the door and should be now flying back to Abuja, or already there, after the terminal dismissal.

A directive from Father Vincent Mpwaji, the Chancellor of the Dar-es-salaam Archdiocese, instructs all the priests in the Tanzanian largest City and Commercial Port that the Nigerian Minister’s services are longer valid and thus should not be seen anywhere in the vicinity.

Dated on 17 August 2022, the dispatch from the Chancellor explains that Archbishop Jude Thadaeus Ruwa’ichi, O.F.M.Cap, the Tanzanian prelate of the Catholic Church has relieved Father Fosudo from parish service, forthwith.
