TECNO mobile Kenya is picking up the two-time Olympic champion, Eliud Kipchoge to be the smartphone’s brand ambassador for its upcoming flagship model PHANTOM X2 series.
The announcement has just been made at Nairobi’s Global Trading Center (GTC) which happens to be East Africa’s tallest structure yet.
TECNO Brand Manager Antony Brian Otieno boasts that the Phantom is the world’s pioneering product in terms of cutting edge technology.
“We take the lead in research and development of the world’s most valuable business products and now Phantom has a new flagship which comes with a totally different and advanced technology,” says Otieno.
According to the Tecno official, the new smartphone offers stylish experience, extraordinary features and innovative technology.
And now the Tecno series bearing the Phantom Moniker gets to partner with the world’s fastest hero, Eliud Kipchoge.
“We are soon launching the latest Phantom series which is currently available on Pre-orders,” points out the Tecno Brand Manager.
He reveals that the PHANTOM X2 series 5G is among the world’s pioneering devices in terms of its Retractable Portrait Lens and renewable fibre finished back cover.
“I am sure no one has seen a device like it in the market yet.”
Speaking during the event, the new Tecno Phantom series Ambassador, Eliud Kipchoge said Innovation is the most important component for development and improvement.
“I am excited to be part of the world’s pioneer in innovation and advanced technology.”
According to Kipchoge technological advancement must always take into consideration the protection of the natural environmental.
The world popular athlete insists that protecting the environment means saving the next generation.
Kipchoge points out that the new Tecno Phantom smartphone series is manufactured from recyclable materials which makes the products environmentally friendly.
“It is a commendable achievement, taking into consideration that the Tecno products have been around for more than a decade now.
“The new phone is also quite light and feels good in my hands.” He adds.
Eliud Kipchoge plans to work together with the Tecno Phantom team to raise awareness among the public regarding the importance of supporting products that promote a greener world.
Celebrated media personality Caroline Mutoko who is the Phantom Series’ Chief Project promoter says she is proud to be among the first people to get her hands on the new phantom.
“I am lucky to be among the first people to test this device. It feels smooth in my hands.”
PHANTOM X2 Series has been available for pre-orders between January 5, 2023, and January 18, 2023.
Order are place at authorized Tecno branded shops and agents, the smartphones’ Official Website and partners including Safaricom Outlets and Jumia.
People who pre-order the devices get complementary smart watches and bundled wireless headsets for PHANTON X2 Pro and a smartwatch and a quality backpack for PHANTOM X2.
