Tanzania Versus DR Congo Boxing in Arusha: Dulla Mbabe plots revenge against Tshimanga Katompa

Tanzanian boxer, Abdallah Pazi, known as Dulla Mbabe will be punching it out against Congolese fighter, Erick Tshimanga Katompa from DRC in an International boxing feat in Arusha on November 25, 2023.

The Arusha boxing match should also be an opportunity for revenge on the side of Dulla who got punched out of the ring by Katompa during their previous outing in Dar-es-salaam and now the Tanzanian puncher demands his pound of flesh.

The main card event pitting the two foes will be preceded by seven other boxing bouts and are to be staged in the Simba auditorium at the Mount Meru Hotel, along the Arusha-Moshi road, in the outskirts of the City.

Organized by the Lady in Red Promotion, the boxing competition, which is essentially a reprise match between Dulla and Katompa is dubbed as ‘Boxing with Tourism.’

It is specifically being staged in Arusha which is the hub of tourism in East Africa, linking Mount Kilimanjaro, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara.

According to the communication officer for the Lady in Red Promotion, Seneta Banza, the two boxers previously fought in Dar-es-salaam in October 2021 in which the Tanzanian envoy, Dulla Mbabe lost to Katompa in overall judges’ points.

Now the two adversaries are going to face each other again in the Arusha ring.

The ten-rounds boxing event will start at around 7.00pm, with a number of curtain raisers featuring seven other pairsDR of fighters warming up the ring.

The first support boxing act features the Middleweight boxers, Ali Baba Tarimo against Karage Suba, both from Tanzania.

Then there will be the female bout between Chiku Idd and Leyla Macho also being lady boxers in the middle weight ring from Tanzania.

Other female boxers to ignite the ring are Sarah Alex and Tatiana Ezekiel all being Tanzanians.

In the Super-MiddleWeight, comes Shaaban Kaoneka against Kassim (Pesa) Somboko as well as Paulo Kamata fighting Jacob Maganga.

There is also a match between Shaaban Ngunda who will be punching against Salehe Mkalekwa.

Towards the main event, a boxing match between Nigerian boxer Rilwan Lawal facing the Tanzanian fighter Loren Japheth, these two will make the threshold event towards the main card.

After they leave the ring, the main card featuring super middleweight boxers Dulla Mbabe and Tshimanga Katompa in the Tanzania versus DR Congo, will usher onto the stage for the ultimate boxing feat.
