In November, is when the legendary Wildebeests Migration returns home from Maasai Mara in Kenya to the central parts of the endless Serengeti plains of Tanzania.
During that period in 2025 something new will also be unfolding within the famous National Park.
Neptune Serengeti, perched on the top escalation of the secluded Soroi Hills, will be opening up in the endless plains, in November 2025.
The new facility will be adding 20 new luxury suites high above an elevation which provides a vantage viewing point of the wildlife-filled endless plains below.
There is an unmatched 180 degrees view over the Plains below supplemented with a spy-glass tower equipped with powerful binoculars to scan the entire range of the endless plains.
The Neptune Director of Business Development, Clemens Faber explains that the Serengeti Property is yet another establishment bearing witness of the conducive environment for investments in Tanzania.
“It is our third property in the country after the Neptune of Pwani, Mchangani in Zanzibar and the Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge,” said Faber, adding the company intends to set up more properties in other National Parks of Tanzania.
According to Faber, the global travel industry seems to be shifting back towards Africa.
“East Africa especially, because in the 70s, countries like Singapore used to come to East Africa, that is Kenya, to learn how to run the sector and now the country is among the leading globally,” pointed out the Neptune Director of Business.
Surrounded by lush vegetation that remains vibrant also in the dry season, Neptune Serengeti being built at the cost of USD 10 million is a modern yet classic, luxury Tented Camp covering 2 square kilometers ensures a lush and green landscape all year-round with breath-taking views of the Mara Region plains.

“All the materials are 100 percent sourced locally, including the manpower behind the construction work,” stated Clemens Faber, adding that even the cuisine will mostly be organic food grown fresh from Tanzanian soil.

On his part, the Neptune Hotels Serengeti General Manager, Rakesh Prasad said the property is environmentally friendly running on mostly clean and renewable energy, in this case solar, though a power generator is always on standby.
“Plus we are out to provide direct employment to 90 Tanzanians that will form members of the staff from November 2025, but even the construction project hired more than 200 local people,” explained Prasad.
