While the number of casualties is yet to be officially announced, two people are feared dead following the incident of the light aircraft which crashed and exploded in flames at the Kwachocha area of Malindi, near Mombasa Coastal city of Kenya.
The place crash incident reportedly occurred on Friday, January 10, in the afternoon.
Reports indicate that the plane crash-landed on the side of the Malindi-Mombasa Highway and caught fire upon impact.
So far early reports say there have been no survivors from the crash.
Some witnesses say the lady pilot known as Halima Upepo was doing some aerial stunts to impress her boyfriend who was a motorcycle rider below.
Except the small aircraft hit another motorcycle before crashing onto a nearby building. She died on the spot.
Other reports indicate that some schoolchildren walking home may have been victims of the plane crash after being caught in the flames.
However, the video circulating online shows bodies of the two, a man and a woman, lying on the side of the road, not far from where the wreck of the plane was.
The body of the man is lying face down, while that of the woman is facing upwards with blood oozing from the head.
It is not known if the two victims were inside the fated plane or they were hit by the debris from the doomed aircraft.
The local Kenyan police officers were seen hovering around the scene of the accident, reportedly trying to conduct some with investigation.
