Loliondo Violence: State airlifts Body of Murdered Police Officer for Burial

The Policeman who was attacked and killed amid chaos in the Loliondo Game Controlled Area, gets buried at his home village in Musoma district of Mara Region.

The late Corporal Garlius Mwita, aged 36, was reportedly speared to death by unkown assilants as violence erupted in the Loliondo Division of Ngorongoro District, Arusha Region.

Chaos boiled up during the ongoing exercise to plant beacons around 1500 square kilometers of land considered to be the main water source at the Loliondo Hills.

The Arusha Regional Commissiner graced the special mass to bid the late cop farewell, at the Wasso township of Loliondo, before the body was flown to Musoma.

Catholic Priest, Father Eric Kaseleka led the farewell mass.
