Kenyan female banker tortured and killed in Nakuru

A shocking incident in the Nakuru City of Kenya where the body of 34-year-old female banker Florence Mueni Mwalimu was discovered in a maize plantation with gruesome injuries.

Mueni was an employee at the Nakuru Branch of the Cooperative Bank.

Florence, according to reports, was last seen alive on the morning of August 6, after leaving work early to tend to her sick child.

She then disappeared until her badly mutilated body with ears and right thumb cut off, was found the maize farm on the following day.

It seems the poor Banker was tortured. Pathologists confirmed that Mueni was alive when her ears were cut off.

Investigators are grappling with questions surrounding the motive behind the heinous crime and the purpose of the missing body parts.

The murder scene revealed that the body had likely been carried to be dumped into the farm.

She was transported there after the victim was murdered as there were no bloodstains at the location nor signs of struggle.

Police suspect her thumb was removed for illegal activities, possibly fingerprinting and likely related to her work at the Nakuru Bank branch.
