Israel shells Iran’s Secret Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Bunker. Tehran fights back

The Israeli Defence Forces have confirmed a major airstrike that targeted a secret Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force command bunker in western Iran.

Iran has also retaliated with a dozen of ballistic misiles blasting Tel Aviv in the night of Friday the 13th of June 2025.

According to reports, the Israel attack on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace has killed key Iranian military figures.

The strike, based on military intelligence, was carried out as the IRGC was allegedly planning a retaliatory attack on Israel.

Among the confirmed casualties is Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, who was central to Iran’s missile and drone programs.

Brigadier General Hajizadeh had long threatened Israel and was behind numerous missile and drone attacks, including the October 2019 strike on Israel and the 2019 assault on Saudi oil facilities.

Also killed by the attacks were Taher Pour, Commander of the IRGC Drone Unit, and Davoud Sheikhian, Commander of the IRGC Air Defence Division.

Both of these Iranian officers played critical roles in Iran’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) warfare and air defence operations.

Israeli officials say this pre-emptive strike was aimed at neutralizing Iran’s retaliatory capabilities before they could be activated.

The attack on Iran follows recent Israeli â€‹Defence Forces (IDF) operations that eliminated General Mohammad Bagheri (Iran’s Chief of Staff), General Hossein Salami (IRGC Chief), and other high-ranking military and nuclear officials.

Iran has not officially confirmed the deaths but is reportedly on high alert.

With airspace closures across the region and rising tensions, fears of a broader regional war are growing.

The attack follows earlier Israeli strikes that killed top Iranian military and nuclear figures.

In response to that, Iran had also launched over 100 drones toward Israel, triggering air raid sirens in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and other cities.

Israeli defence systems intercepted many of the drones, with minor damage reported but no major casualties. The situation marks a serious escalation, with both nations now bracing for possible full-scale
