Hindi Movie Star, Sanjay Dutt Plans to Establish Film Industry in Zanzibar

Award Winning Indian Film actor, Sanjay Dutt intends to invest in Zanzibar and it seems like a ‘Bollywood-like’ movie industry in the isles is in offing.

Actor Sanjay Balraj Dutt revealed intentions to that effect as he was visiting Unguja and Pemba Islands.

While in the Isles Dutt held talks with President, Hussein Ali Mwinyi, at the Zanzibar’s State House. There he informed Head of State of his intention to invest in Isles but precisely around the country’s film industry.

But he will also fund development projects, including those in health and education sectors.

And from the information dispatched by the Zanzibar State House, Sanjay Dutt is setting up an office at the Isles. The star will also promote tourism in Pemba and Unguja.

Actor Sanjay Balraj Dutt who works in Hindi films, is the recipient of several awards, including two Filmfare Awards and three Screen Awards.

Sanjay has so far acted in 187 films, ranging from romance to comedy genres, though he usually gets typecasted in action genres.

Like Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Mithun Chakraboty, Dutt is also regarded to be one of the most influential Hindi film actors in the years 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s.
