Hanspaul Group Wins President’s Manufacturer of the Year Award

The Company which has been doing Tanzania Proud in exporting specially designed Safari Vehicles has won the President’s Manufacturer of the Year 2022 Award.

For the eighth year now the Arusha-based Hanspaul Group emerged the winner of the Confederation of Tanzania Industries’ President’s Manufacturer Awards of the Year Awards.

Vice President, Philip Mpango graced the awards winning gala in Dar es Salaam, promising the government’s dedicated support to industrial development in Tanzania.

And at this year’s President’s Manufacturer of the Year Awards gala Hanspaul Group earned an award for each of the entities’ four subsidiary companies with the accolade being dedicated to the late Balbir Kaur Hanspaul.

Operating from the Themi Hills’ Industrial Area of Arusha, Hanspaul is also the pioneer of electric vehicles in Tanzania with the environmentally friendly initiative in transportation gaining traction especially in the tourism industry.

But the Hanspaul group, entities that contributed in the realization of the award include the latest entry, E – Motion Africa Limited, which outfits Electric Vehicles and Dharam Singh Hanspaul and Sons which deals with Construction and Steel Structure Buildings and Pre Engineered Structures.

There is also the Hanspaul Industries Limited Producing Paper, cartons and Paper packaging, as well as the Hanspaul Automechs Limited dealing with conversion of Safari and Special Purpose Vehicles.

The Awards are usually organized and issued through the Confederation of Tanzania Industries (CTI).

Hanspaul Group Chief Executive Officer Satbir Singh Hanspaul thanked the organizers for recognizing his firm’s contribution in the development of the industrial sector.

He also lauded the Government, under President Samia Suluhu Hassan for recognizing contributions from the private sector in building the country’s economy through industrial development.

The CEO dedicated the award to his mother Balbir Kaur Hanspaul, who passed away recently.

“This is quite an honor, and the outstanding recognition gives us more zest for motivation, and we promise to achieve even more in future,” added Satbir Singh Hanspaul.
