Fire on the Highway: Kaprikon Bus Goes Up in Flames

A Bus which was travelling from the Njombe Region in the Southern Highlands heading to the Northern Tanzania City of Arusha, via Iringa, has burst in flames in Dodoma.

And as you read this the entire shell of the Marcopolo Andare, Scania Bus, with inscriptions, Kaprikon Royal Class has been reduced to ashes.

Early reports from the scene of the highway fire outbreak are to the effect that, several passengers have been injured during the scramble to get out of the vehicle.

The Tanzania Times has learned that the fire started from the rear wheels’ axle, as the bus reached Mlowa area and by the time it was discovered, flames had spread across the chassis beneath the vehicle.
