Online training platform, EDUKAN has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Zetech University to enable graduates locate the job market with the necessary skills.
The development comes at the time when students from the University await their forthcoming graduation.
Speaking during the signing of the MoU madam Mary Wanja Mugo director of the program in Kenya says with a track record of 15 years’ working program in Kenya they have succeeded in assisting 75 percent of youths.
EDUKAN’s Basic Education Quality Improvement Programme (BEQUIP) was acknowledged by UNESCO for its contribution to quality education in Kenya
The Kenyan youngsters have been helped to transcend to the working space with the necessary skills required for the workplace.
“We have four core mandates as a Program that is vocational education, equipping youths with skills for the job market famously skills for life, Quality basic education, education emergency and Exchange program where we go to Netherlands and Netherlands come to Kenya “

The institution Vice Chancellor Prof Njega Mine has lauded the move and promised that the move will be action-backed.
The Professor called upon partners in establishing platform for the institutions in order to identify and assist the talented students and community.
“Zetech University is known for its unique computer programs more especially on the school of Bachelor in IT and today as we sign this MOU I know this is a call to serve humanity since we have programs like the resettling programs for the KDF and the people with uniforms that helps in the officers and generals reintegrate back to the society” Prof Njega.

Zetech University which was Chartered early this year has a total of 9340 Students who are about to increase following the establishment of the new headquarters block at Mangu Known as Zetech University Mang’u campus.
