Since the year 2003, Tanzania has been hosting the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association’s Africa Regional Secretariat at the National Assembly premises in Dodoma.

The Attorney Generals of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and the Secretary General of the Arusha-based EAC are all facing charges to that effect.

Nearly 140,000 people die each year because of snake bites, and around three times as many amputations and other permanent disabilities are caused by snakebites annually.

The accession agreement was signed by the Registrar of the Engineering Council of South Sudan, the Engineers Board of Kenya, the Engineers Registration Board of Tanzania, the Engineers Registration Board of Uganda, and the Rwanda Engineering Council.
